I am highly energetic, I love kids, and I love helping out. I scored 24, 21, and 22 on my ACT in high school, and I graduated from Bethany with a GPA of 3.4. I am looking to tutor in English, reading, and writing. I can also tutor in Science as well. I scored 27, 24, and 25 in the English category of the ACT and I scored in the top 20's in the Science category. I am a very patient person when it comes to helping kids learn. I have tutored elementary students when I was in high school and helped bring students' scores up. I am currently attending college at OSU-OKC and my GPA is 3.2.

I want to help your family member develop as a writer and discover talents that this person never knew that he or she has. Enthusiasm for helping young people improve their English and writing skills is a passion. Being that I have taught English Composition to college students for the past nine years, I am certainly qualified. Building rapport and trust is also important, and I as a relaxed person have all the time in the world to help your family member meet his goals of improving his or her English skills and ability to critically think. Meetings in a casual and relaxed forum is my preference, and it's important for students to identify their own strengths and knowledge base. In the classroom, I apply Socratic principles of "knowing thyself," and I firmly believe that any young person is capable of learning basic English skills and concepts. I have also been a free-lance writer for several newspapers at the collegiate level, and I am in the process of writing a book. I would enjoy helping you.
